Geocache Description:

A series of 8 caches and a bonus set around a 5 mile walk which starts from the beautiful village of Rockbourne. The village has many examples of Tudor and Georgian houses, but by far the oldest and most famous dwelling is the remains of a Roman Villa, just south of the village.

The walk starts from the village hall car park (see parking co-ordinates) and is mainly along field paths, woodland bridleways and tracks. This is a lovely walk at any time of year, but anyone doing it soon in spring, will be treated to vast fields of rape, carpets of bluebells in the woodlands, and new born lambs. The terrain is somewhat undulating, and there are several stiles and gates. When you leave the car park, take the footpath directly opposite you to the church where you could do the Rockbourne Church Micro, then continue along the path running along the back of some properties. There are further waypoints given on the Bonus Cache page to help you on your way.

The caches are of varying sizes. You will need a pen and paper, tweezers/toothpick. Some of the caches contain a letter to help you find the bonus, and there are also a couple of questions to answer on the way round
