Geocache Description:

Very secluded, not often visited. It’s a short hike at 1mile from trail head to falls, but has a fairly steep incline with an elevation change of 350FT. The trail is all downhill to the Cache site and all uphill back to the trail head.Be prepared to jump rocks or go all out for a swim. The rocks are covered in moss and very slippery. Bushwhacking may be needed. When placing this cache I walked away with a few scratches.I

The Cache is a small twist top Camo taped container. Can hold a few small trade items or bugs. Cache is started off with a tracker in place. Please bring your own pen and a rain suite. I would highly recommend that only the extreme Cachers should attempted this during the Winter months.

When approaching the trail head from Willimina Oregon you have two options,
You can turn at the first Forest road 14 marked Niagara Falls 5 miles. This road can be pretty rough. I would suggest this entrance if you have a 4Wheel drive and are not afraid of tight corners and pot holes. Follow the signs for the Trail Head 8533. This route will add about 30mins drive time due to the up and down and all around the mountains. :)

The other option is to drive 7.2 miles down the road on Upper Nustucca river road/Nat for Dev Rd 85. Turn left on Niagara Rd you’ll see a falls sign 4.3 miles. You'll take another right at a y follow the trail head sign. This route will save you about 30 minutes.

This is our First Hide, the coordinates where a bit jumpy, let me know if you have any trouble or pin point better coordinates for the cache.

I changed the terrain to a 5. summer time you can walk the path of the creek, during the water season you have to do some serious bushwhacking or all out water dipping to get to it.

Way to go FTFer Geofj
