Hopfräben
Das Naturschutzgebiet Hopfräben bildet den letzen Rest naturnaher Landschaft im Mündungsbereich der Muota. Seit der letzten Eiszeit vor rund 12'000 Jahren hat der Fluss Material mitgeschwemmt und in einem Delta im Vierwaldstättersee abgelegt. Erst die Korrekturen nach dem grossen Hochwasser von 1910 stoppte die gestaltende Kraft weitgehend. Die Muota fliesst heute innerhalb hoher Dämme und das Geschiebe wird in Kiessammlern abgelagert.
Bei einer Abstimmung 1990 beschloss die Bevölkerung das Gebiet der Hopfräben unter Schutz zu stellen. Entlag dem Seeufer wurde eine öffentliche Zone mit einem Wassergraben vom Streuegebiet abgetrennt. Das Gebiet der Hopfräben ist heute Lebensraum von vielen selten gewordenen Pflanzen und Tierarten. Und die Uferzone ein sehr beliebter Ort zum Baden, Grillieren und Spazieren.
Der kurze und einfach zu lösende Multi-Cache führt Dich in diese Schutzzone, an dessen Eingang es einige öffentliche Parkplätze gibt . Du musst den Weg nie verlassen, alle Stationen und auch die Dose selbst liegen am Weg oder in der öffentlichen Uferzone. Bitte unbedingt die Hinweise zum Schutz der Zone beachten.

Der Cache ist ein nicht allzu schwierig versteckter Small, welcher Platz für kleine Coins, TB's und Tauschgegenstände bietet. Bitte behandle den Behälter vorsichtig und verschliesse ihn wieder richtig. Achte darauf, dass Dich kein Muggel beobachtet.

Hopfräben
The nature protecting area Hopfräben is the last remaining landscape at the mouth of the river muota. Since the last ice age around 12'000 year ago, the river washed away material and stored in a delta in Lake of Lucerne. Only the corrections after the great flood of 1910 stopped the creative force of the river. The Muota now flows within high dams and the sediment is collected in gravel collectors.
In a public vote 1990 the population of Brunnen desided to protect the area of Hopfräben. Along the lake the public area was separated from the protected area by a water canal. The 'Hopfräben' is today the habitat of many rare plant and animal species. And the area at the lake is very popular for swimming, barbecuing and walking.

The cache is a small box, which is not hidden too difficult. It has space for small Coins, TB's and trade items. Please be carefully with the cache bx and closed the container again carefully. Make sure tha you are not observed by muggles.
