baesparza: The cache has disappeared and the dismantling of the drive-in itself has hastened its demise. Therefore I archive.

Small Nutella container that was won in the raffle at the "I'm A Brat, You're A Brat, We're ALL Brats!" event held in downtown Kent.
June 11, 2013: The cache container has apparently disappeared which means I now will archive this Cache. The anniversary of the first drive-in movie was just a few days ago, so now is as good a time as any to say goodbye.
April 29, 2013: The Drive In is currently being dismantled, which means that this Cache is on borrowed time and will most likely be archived before too long. Log this Cache while you can!
The first drive-in theater opened in Camden, NJ on June 6, 1933 and showed a film starring Adolphe Menjou called "Wives Beware".
"Menjou, having married unwisely, feigns amnesia with the help of physician Allister and finds a new identity as a car salesman. The philandering faker flirts with a number of women but is finally found by a friend of his deserted wife. The friend, herself long enamored of the miscreant Menjou, persuades him to return to his wife, whose pregnancy was unknown to him. An unpleasant little comedy, despite a strong cast." (tvguide.com)
Theaters have come a long, long way since then, but we are forever grateful that these few, these proud relics of the past survive today.
First to Find may find an unregistered HQ travel tag for the taking.
Congrats to co-FTF-ers Pschokiwi and Terrible T's; and groovy seeing CobaltTom and meeting 2nd of 3 and Cache Bandit and her crew in the FTF party!
