Cache is on a short hike up the Art Smith Trail. Beautiful views of the Coachella Valley and desert terrain.
Trailhead is located up Hwy 74, parking is just past the Bighorn Country Club. After hiking up the trail on the right, the Art Smith, cache is off of a side trail at the top. As always, bring plenty of water and watch out for snakes in warmer temperatures. The trail continues and I suggest you make this a loop hike where this side trail meets up with the main Art Smith trail. The views are worth it! Trail is best done in the spring when wildflowers are blooming and the normally harsh desert is green with plants and flowers. Container is an official geocache container with various swag included.
