About the Adventure Playground:

Huge wooden adventure playground with the usual assortment of play equipment - plenty of ramps, ladders, various walkways, tunnel slides, monkey bars, monkey rung, flying fox, various swings, climbing walls, lookouts and balance beams.

Two huge shelters with plenty of tables, unshaded and shaded seats and tables, water tap, toilets and BBQs. Liberty swing. There are also concrete pathways suitable for 'scootering'.

Located next to the Moama Sports Club, just across the Murray River bridge from Echuca. The Sports Club next door to the playground do takeaway coffee and snacks as well as more substantial meals.

About the Botanical Gardens:

The Moama and Echuca Community Botanic Gardens Group mission is to establish, in stages, a Botanic Gardens, by working with the Community and Local Council, on an existing community recreation precinct on Perricoota Rd, Moama in NSW. The group aims to eventually develop the Botanic Gardens to include a fun and fitness track, a bicycle education track, recreation area, lake, observation hill, boardwalk, fauna and flora reserve on a small island, children's garden, settlers garden, bush tucker garden and memorial avenue.

From the conception of the idea in 2002, and incorporation, the group has now finished the planning and development of stage 1 of the project - a grassed recreation area and planting of initial gardens.

The group is also currently involved in increasing community awareness of the need for these Gardens in our rapidly developing urban area. The group is recruiting sponsors, fund raising, and having membership drives and plant propagation.
