The Serpentine Station or run was a land holding between the
townships of Serpentine and Bears lagoon.
In 1906 it was divided up and sold off in smaller holdings. The
cemetery remains but unfortunately it is fenced within a fence on
private property despite being very well sign posted from the
highway.
The plaque states that 12 people are buried here and 6 of these
are children under the age of 3. The remainder were mostly
employees of the station.
