Geocache Description:

When: 12:30pm-4:30pm (note: participants are not required to stay the full 4 hours).

Where: Evansburg State Park Visitors Center (see coordinates above).

First-timers will get a quick how-to on using a GPS unit to find points based on coordinates from PA State Parks naturalist Stephanie Strub, and then all participants will put their skills to good use by "caching in" to find cool prizes and packing litter out of the park along the way.

Participants may borrow a Parks-owned GPS unit for $5. This fee is payable at the event. Visitors bringing their own units should be familiar with them before attending. Please carry plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes.

Transportation is available from Philadelphia on a first-come, first-served basis.

ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. PROGRAM WILL BE CANCELLED IF THERE IS A LACK OF APPARENT INTEREST.
