It always amazes me when I happen to come across evidence of the old railway lines.
This cache is hidden at a 3 arch bridge that used to have a busy railway beneath it. evidence of the old railway is still obvious down on the "tracks".
If you park at the listed parking coords and walk the railway line to GZ, you really get a feel for the old line. There is is remains of a small structure, possibly a smaller bridge. Once at GZ you can still smell the aroma of the coal and oil from the old trains. I guess this wafts off the underside of the arches.
The route to the cache can be fairly muddy and overgrown. I found it best to keep on higher ground above the "tracks"
It is possible to park closer to the cache than the suggested parking but you it will require you to park in the goods in/staff entrance to the big farmhouse. However, please please do not drive down either the main entrance or the goods entrance. This is a Private estate.
