Ice and Wind: I'm going to archive this old event listing. I'm sure that everyone that attended has had an opportunity to log their visit.

Many thanks to the cache owner for hosting this fun event but please remember in the future that one of the responsibilities of hosting an event is to archive the listing after a few weeks so it no longer appears on nearby searches and pocket queries.

Geocache Description:

A tailgate party to take place at the Spokane Arena on Friday, May 27th, 2011. We will meet at 6pm and get the event started. Please feel free to show up later if need be, we should be around for awhile. There will also be a 'Cache Crawl' event afterward in downtown where we will walk along a route of caches downtown. This will start around 7, or whenever everyone decides to head out.

For all of you who want to meet other cachers and enjoy some time together. This will be a great way for us to talk about past caches and challenges. Everyone can share experiences. There will be coins and travelbugs to be discovered and traded in order to keep them all moving. We will be meeting in the Spokane Arena parking lot near the NE corner. For all of those who are coming from out of town or those who just don't know where it is the following will help:

I have called the Spokane Arena and checked with the General Manager who said that there will be no event on the night of our event. He told me because of this there will be no staff and we are free to use the parking lot.

I will bring a logbook especially for the event where everyone can sign their name and write down travel bug tracking information to be shared later online. I will post a list of attendees and any information they want the group to have on the cache page following the event.

Please bring dinner or a snack for yourself at the tailgate party. I felt this would work well as organizing food will be harder for this event. You may want to bring some chairs as we will be meeting for an hour or so depending on how long people stick around.
After everyone is finished eating and talking amongst themselves we will leave for a 'Cache Crawl' where everyone who wants to participate will walk into downtown and find caches as a group.
