Luck Traditional Cache
FloridaFour: I'm pulling this cache. I am not really into geocaching anymore and don't wish to keep maintaining this one that keeps getting wet.

Cache is in Upper Tampa Bay Park, located on Double Branch Rd. This is the hardest of my 3 caches with the theme: "Patience", "Perserverence" and "Luck". 3 things all geocachers need! This cache is located off a rugged, narrow trail, and being able to mark a waypoint or use the backtracking feature on your gps is suggested, if you don't want to lose the trail and get lost. About a .4 mile walk EACH way if you stay on the trails. Good Luck!
Upper Tampa Bay Park is a Hillsborough County Park located on Double Branch Rd. Park has a $2 entry fee, self pay envelopes are at the entrance. Park hours 8am - 6pm. Closed Christmas Day. Nature center 12-4pm M-F and 10-4pm Sat/Sun.
This park includes a nature center, picnic areas, playground, limited kayak and canoe rentals, and fishing, as well as a few interpretive trails. Park phone number is 813-855-1765.
To get to the cache, park near nature center, and go to the right of nature center to "nature trail" and then follow the "Bobcat Trail" to the right. (left side is closed off right now) and follow this trail 0.2 miles and you will see "Patience" cache and also a road and a mudflat area, which you can cross to cache area. This flats area may be damp or wet depending on the season. You may see a few fiddler crabs.... Find a small, grassy path in the woods going S/SE direction, and cache will be 50 feet off the trail. Careful not to lose the trail, mark waypoint if needed. Slight bushwhacking here. Cache is 5 inch round container. Contains log, pens, small trade items and FTF activated coin, to be used to put in a new cache of your own. I have included the coords for parking, trailhead and reference point for where to cross to second trail in "additional waypoints".
FYI- If you want to take the trail just a little further for fun, it opens up into an interesting and serene salt barrens area. I had thought of placing a cache there because I had originally wanted to make this cache a full 1 mile walk, and to get out of the controlled burn area, but decided that since the trail kind of disappears there, to stick with the trails!
Bug spray, water and cell phone always a good idea out in the woods...
***Congrats! FTF is Rose Tiger!***
