Dina park is a hidden gem in Arsuf/Kedem. There is a private ecological garden and an open space gallery for environmental art.
Arsuf Kedem is located 17 kilometers north of Tel Aviv, near Hertzelia. Arsuf Kedem was established in 1935 north of the ancient city and fortress – Apollonia (the archeological site: "Tel Arshaf") situated on a cliff above the Mediterranean Sea. The farmers who settled in Arsuf Kedem toiled their land growing fruit and vegetables fields. Unfortunately this settlement did not become an official village, but remained sparsely inhabited.
Modern Arsuf is a small Settlement, of private homes north of Arsuf Kedem, established in 1996.
An area of 350 acres around Arsuf Kedem, between the ancient city and the modern village was declared a Nature Reserve in 2003.
Access to Arsuf Kedem through route no. 2.
Coming from the south – exit route no. 2 at Hof Hasharon interchange to Shefaim. Drive under the bridge. Go left at the circle after the bridge. Go right at the next circle. Immediately, after 20 meters, turn left by the sign " ????? ??? " . The road takes you south parallel to road no. 2. into Arsuf Kedem and the outdoor gallery.
PARK DINA – Ecological Garden in memory of Dina Manheim (1951-2006).
Park Dina is a private collection of trees of 100 kinds. The park is a part of a wide area of open landscape. About 40 kinds of fruit trees provide a rich environment for people and birds all around the year.
The park was established by the Manheim family, living & farming in Arsuf since 1935 (today -Arsuf Kedem).
Some of the green gallery exhibits are placed among the trees, making the visit enjoyable for both Art & Botanic lovers.
The open space gallery in the fields of Arsuf Kedem was established by the Green Gallery Group. The group maintains this gallery to display art in and from nature, and intends that the works exhibited in the gallery will have something from the harmony of nature. GG hope their work will bring people closer to nature and provide them with spiritual oxygen. The Open Green Gallery is open for the public 24 hours a day, all year round. The entrance is free. Guided tours are available by appointment. See website for more info. The cache is a small pill box hidden in the open gallery area. BYOP.
