Geocache Description:

A camo'd match container hidden at "Rocky Hill Park". Please bring your own writing implement.

During the evening of Saturday, Sept 18, 2010, Bermuda was hit by Hurricane Igor, a Category 1 hurricane. The island was battered by winds as high as 93 kph.

The Town Square in St. George was completely under water and many sailboats and one yacht were dislodged from their moorings.

The Bermudian, a ferry, snapped her mooring lines in St. George's and was swept aground on the little island directly in front of you. Well, yes, we know where you are standing, but once you put the cache back and stand on the hill directly in front of the cache, and face the water you should see a small island close to shore and almost directly in front you. This is where the Bermudian washed ashore. (storm picture attached)

It took some time to free her from her from her perch because of damages and subsequently she was in dry dock at the Royal Naval Dockyards until March 2011. (drydock picture attached).

CONGRATULATIONS TO BLOOMINONION AND GEOBUDDY23 FOR FTF!
