This cache is a pint sized plastic container camouflaged and hidden at the entrance to Mt. Mitchell Park. Please park in the appropriate lot and walk back to the cache. The cache is at the edge of a property line so sneak around behind the fence to find the cache.
Park hours need to be observed.
We've been stationed at the Sandy Hook Coast Guard Station for the last four years out on the Sandy Hook peninsula. Mt. Mitchell is a great place to play, remember and of course, to overlook "The Hook." It's also a great vantage point to view NYC and the surrounding areas - maps are conveniently placed under the trellis'. We hope you enjoy the cache as it's our first. Comments are welcome!
