Geocache Description:

I decided to combine two of my favorite things. Disc Golf and Geocaching!!! Bring your own pen! Please place cache back exactly as you found it.

Cache is located along Young's Disc Golf Course which is a mixture of open areas and wooded areas. You can stay on paths or shortcut if you wish. Just be respectful of Disc Golfers if they are playing and remember, Muggles may be disguised as Disc Golfers.

There is a treat for First to Find!

Dawn until Dusk caching only! Parking is available in two locations. Kid friendly. 18-Hole Tournament Layout Disc Golf Course for you Disc Golfers out there. Picnic tables and a picnic area are available along with restrooms. Also available are areas for hiking, nature observation, cross-country skiing and sledding.

Clarence Darrow MetroPark is 32 acres and located on Educational Highway in Champion Township adjacent to the Kent State University Trumbull Campus.

This is one of my favorite places and it saddens me to see all the trash laying around so please joining me in some friendly "Cache In Trash Out"

The main draw to this Park is the 18-Hole Disc Gold Course. I have played it many times and it is one of the best courses in the area. If you are unfamiliar with Disc Golf please check out (visit link) for more information. Did I mention that playing Disc Golf is free? It sure is! All you need is a couple discs which cost an average of $10 each. After that initial investment you can just walk onto any course and play. So don't sit there scratching your head trying to figure out what those baskets with chains are while searching for this cache. They are just Disc Gold Targets :) I hope a few of you will find a new outdoor activity to try. Enjoy!
