This cache is named for the two "Shoe Trees" that it lives between.
These trees have been in Niagara for quite a few years. I've never quite found out how they came in to existance, but have heard such ideas that it started as an art project, or a dare.
Merrit Rd connects Welland with Fonthill, and is quite nice to bike down in the spring and summer.
You're looking for a small, duct taped container. A few small trinkets and prize for the FTF!
This cache might be hard to get to if you are driving to it, it would make it hard to be discreet. You could park at Quaker Rd school and walk, or just take your bike there.
