Not a "Drive-by" Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

radnoski: I visited this cache tonight to confirm the previous reports.

The old rusty car has gone-ski and so has the ammo can that was hidden under it.

I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted. My guess is the car was dumped there over ten years ago before the "Crestwood Heights" development was started.

Cheers!!

Geocache Description:

This cache is NOT accessible from the Smith Street Motorway. Although your car may get you pretty close to the final position you will have to go for a bit of walk to find the cache. There are lots of hiding spots but keep in mind that you are looking for a big metal container.

The cache is located in some bushland between Crestwood Heights and the busy Smith Street motorway.  (Do not attempt to access from Smith Street)

There is an entrance to the track on Olsen Avenue (end of big wall near  underpass) or there are a few tracks in Crestwood Heights that lead this way.
Your car will get you so far but you will need to use two feet and a heart beat for the last bit.

It looks like someone has tried to reach this area by car but hasn't been too successful.

You are looking for a nice big container.  There is plenty of room for swaps and large trackable items.
