A handheld game console made by Sony, released in 2004. It was the first handheld console to use optical discs to play games from (called UMDs - Universal Media Discs). The PSP can store photos, music and videos and has local and wifi multiplayer options plus internet connectivity. It features an 11 cm LCD screen (480 x 272 pixel video playback).
