Hanbee Takenaka (1544-1579) is a military commander of the age of civil strife in Japan; "imakoumei", is a genius schemer to represent in the age of civil strife to be called. Similarly there is it with Hideyoshi Toyotomi retainer under the direct control of a shogun same as a famous Kuroda official soldier of the Imperial Guard as a schemer and puts two together and is called "both soldiers of the Imperial Guard". The solid gate of the sturdy stone wall and white wall which a child (sigekado) of the not becoming aware at all built to Takenaka encampment trace is still in good health. In front of the gate, there is a bronze statue of Hanbee Takenaka.

竹中半兵衛（1544 ～ 1579）とは、日本の戦国時代の武将で、「今孔明」と呼ばれる戦国時代を代表する天才軍師です。同じく軍師として名高い黒田官兵衛とは、同じ豊臣秀吉旗下とあって二人あわせて「両兵衛」と称される。 竹中氏陣屋跡には、半兵衛の子（重門）が建てたがっしりとした石垣と白壁の重厚な門が今も健在。門の前には、竹中半兵衛の銅像があります。
