The Norwest Glacial Habitat Restoration Area is a 62 acre parcel of WDNR land, managed for the production of waterfowl, wild pheasant, and non-game songbirds.
In an era of ever increasing rural development and disappearing farmland and wetland, these areas are critical for the nesting, feeding, and overall survival of birds and other wildlife.
This is the thirteenth of the "Room 2 Roam" cache placements. These caches are not park 'n' grabs and can be wet during the different seasons of the year.
Enjoy your short trek and watch for wildlife!
