Saw that there was a cache here a while back. Most of the logs noted that the cache was in very bad shape or nonexistent. I never tried to find it on my own. I was mt. biking and saw the cache site from an opposite ridge. I decided to take my boys and place a new cache at the site.
You'll have about a 2 mile round trip hike. There is also a steep, 60 yd. incline. Be careful on the way up and down. You may need to take your time on the hill if you are not in shape.
The cache is a plastic camo container. There is a log and a pen along with a bunch on tradable items. Be careful where you step and put your hands. A cut or bite would not be fun.
If you park at Jerusalem Mill the hike will be longer with a nice big hill. Parking on the Rte. 1 lot at the trail head is an easier trek. Be careful when walking on Rte. 1.
