Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small size preform container. It contains a log and pencil.

This is purposely placed outside the entrance to the Bald Rock National Park so as to abide by Geocaching Guidelines. There is safe parking off the road. At times this can be a busy road so watch your little ones and stay safe.

Within the National Park there is a great climb you can take up the largest exposed granite rock in the Southern Hemisphere. We took our children up there quite some years ago which was a real adventure for them while we had our hearts in our mouths all the time as some of the slopes are quite steep. It's about a 2 to 3 hour hike up and back. There are quite a few other hiking trails throughout too.

There is picnicking available with tables and bbq's and an amenities.

There is camping available with some lovely camping sites and most appeared to be provided with wood and cooking structures.

Enjoy grabbing the cache before you enter the park or after you exit. Please replace the camo.
