So what is an FTF Swap Party you're asking? Well I'll tell
ya.... before the event, you hide a good cache somewhere.
(Preferably outside of Moncton, which is getting kinda saturated...
lotta spots in Riverview and Dieppe still left even...) So anyhow,
you do the write up and create the cache page for it...
BUT
You place a reviewer note stating "For FTF EVENT. Please do not
approve until at least May 21st"
Why you ask? Well, the premise here is to print out the cache
page, bring it in with you, and swap it with someone else's cache
page print out.. thus swapping FTFs with another cacher...
Afterwards, this gives the cache page recipient until the 21st to
pick up the FTF on the cache! Neat idea eh?
Yeah yeah, SOME people SAY they don't care about FTFs, but you
need to admit there's something about getting there first which
gives ya that special feeling... you know... something that makes
you want to scream out "Nyah Nyah Nyah I got here first!"...
So, hide at least one for the event to swap with another, but
feel free to hide more if you wish...
Location Info: Cheers is a pub, so sadly this
is one of those events where the kiddies will have to stay at home.
But they're more then welcome to come to one of our many breakfast
events!
NOTE: GeorgeD is headed to BC later on that
week, and we'd like to gather as many travel bugs as we can to ship
out west! In return, they'll be returning with a ton from there! So
please bring out those travel bugs (or coins) that have been stuck
on the east coast for way too long!
