Geocache Description:


A series placed to commemerate the end of the space shuttle program,
if all has gone to plan these should be launched shorly after Atlantis has reached orbit on the final shuttle mission.

Challenger Launching

Challenger was the second shuttle to enter service, taking it's first flight STS-6 on April 4th 1983, saddly three years later on January 28th during what should have been her 10th mission the shuttle exploded 73 seconds after lift off killing all 7 crew members.

The cache is a small clip lock that will hold coins and small trackables, located on a footpath just outside Willaston.
