This is a micro with a story...
It contains only a log book in a bag.
Please replace securely(!!) and watch out for the thorns and stingers (and cow pats if you walk through the field).
This is a public footpath, and can be reached from either Bodden Lane or from the path up Martins Lane.
I happened upon an old film cannister nearby here... quite caked in mud and without a top or film, but a film cannister nonetheless.
It's very unsual, these days, to see these - I've had a hard enough time finding them to cache with now that almost all cameras are digital!
Now I'm not one to take others possesions, so I've cleaned it up, given it a top, some black tape and left it nearby - for others to find too. Well... that WAS the story. Now that container has continued the journey again - who knows where it has gone. In the memory of that find, a new container has been placed - unfortunately not a film tube.
Please note not to look in or around the dry stone wall to one side of the gate. It is not there!
