It was a bright, sunny, peaceful day in the desert when I placed this cache. As I was pondering exactly where to hide it and what to call it, I heard this erie "SCREECH!". There were no other sounds, so even though it was not exceptionally loud, it sure got my attention! "What the heck was that?" I asked myself. I'm a city boy, you must realize, so when it's not a honking horn or screeching tires, I have a hard time recognizing it. Anyway, I waited for repeat transmissions....."SCREECH!".....finally I saw that it was a fairly large bird, definitely not an owl, sitting on top of a high saguaro. I was releived to learn that it wasn't Dracula or a fire-breathing dragon. That's a long story of how this cache got it's name. All is well in the desert. HAVE FUN!
