Getting to the cache may require some walking in the woods. if you have a 4x4, you can drive down Worthley Pond Road off 122 to the parking area at the boat ramp. If the snow builds up it may become impossible to drive to the boat ramp. It is about a .15 mile walk to the boat ramp . You can park along 122 if you pull off the road far enough near the road entrance.
Directions:
Take RTE 26 to Rte 122 turnoff near Poland Spring. The access road to Worthley Pond (on right) is not well marked but it is just past the turnoff for Range Pond State Park (on left). I have posted the coordinates for the turnoff on to Worthley Pond Road on the cache page. There is a fisheries sign at the entrance to the road. It is about a .15 mile drive or walk along the access road to the parking area. The road may be plowed in during the winter. I would not travel down the road without a 4x4.
I have added the coordinates for the parking area to the cache page as well. As you walk from the parking area to the water at the boat ramp you will see a trail to the right. The trail is clear in the winter. Follow the trail along the spine (ridge) until you locate the cache. The cache is close to the parking area.
