Tek_kaz: It has been 12 years since this cache was first placed so I think it is time to pension this one off and allow some space for perhaps another "Fine Pair" cache.

Geocache Description:

A little offset Cache & Dash placed within the hamlet of Roundway Village to the north east of Devizes.





Unfortunately The telephone equipment has been removed from this box so we will now use the much smaller red box right next door to find our number.


This hamlet is lucky enough to have retained it’s lovely red communications box and I can actually remember using this very box when the telephone still had buttons A & B.

I am not able to place a cache on the box but you will be looking for a small nano cache with log roll hidden at head height nearby (bring your own pencil). Please make sure that the cache is put back in it’s hiding spot again when you have finished.

To find the cache all you have to do is look at the Telephone number starting with 03457 on the little red box (post haste) and note down the last 4 digits as A, B, C & D. (D being the last digit)

The nano cache is not far away at N 51º 22.(A)(C+4)5 W 001° 58.(B+1)(C+1)(D+1)

You can park right by this location at N 51° 22.085 W 1° 58.852 but be aware that this road can get quite busy at times and has no pavement so please keep an eye on any children & doggy geocachers.

Although wheelchairs can reach this position the height of the cache may make it difficult to retrieve without help.
