WHAT: Brazos Valley Geocachers invite
you to our monthly (or so) gathering.
WHEN: Saturday, May 14 at 11:00AM (Lunchtime if you want it!)
WHERE: Dixie Cafe ~ 708 South Market Street ~ Hearne, Texas
WHY: Geocaching stories, trades, discoveries, hints, fun with
geo-friends, and good food (had me some today!).
This month's theme will promote HIDING NEW CACHES in B/CS and
neighboring counties. A fully prepared cache container will be
given to each cacher who will take it and commit to hide the
container in the Brazos Valley area in the near future....maybe
even that afternoon! We would appreciate having our attendees
donate a ready-to-go container. Please include in your "will
attend" note if you plan to bring a container for this purpose.
It's not required to bring one; our host will provide as many as
necessary. It would help for participants to RSVP by Friday so
I can have enough. Hiding new caches is optional. Everyone is
welcome to eat, meet, and greet! Geocachers at every level of
geocaching experience are welcome to attend this event. If you have
never hidden a cache, then this is the perfect opportunity to meet
up with some experienced cachers to find out their tips and secrets
to successful hides.
I have hidden some new caches
in the Hearne area (it was lacking!!) to give you some traditional
geocaching fun in addition to the event.
