Letterboxing Fun On The Highline Letterbox Hybrid

This cache has been archived.

phenixcachers: Well since somebody STOLE the inkpad and stamp from this Letterbox cache a couple years ago, that pretty much ruined the whole letterbox stamping method of this letterbox cache.
I'll archive it, but good news!---I will be replacing it with a brand new, VERY COOL and VERY CLEVER new "mystery cache container"!
Stay tuned!
Cache on my friends!

Geocache Description:

This cache is a Letterbox Hybrid and is located off the Frisco Highline Trail.
Cache container is a big ole' whopping gallon sized plastic container.
Container has been spray painted green, (altho unfortunately, it scrapes off very easily)
Bushwhacking is minimal, and other than possibly a few small branches to duck under, its a clear path from trail to cache.

Letterbox hybrid caches are fun, yet they seem kinda few and far between.
So I was excited to place one on the good ole' Highline.

Inside the container, you will find TWO logbooks, each inside their own ziplocks.

The letterboxing ziplock contains a small logbook, a stamp pad and a letterboxing stamp (an evergreen tree)--which you can use to stamp your own letterboxing book (if you brought one)

The other ziplock contains a regular small spiral logbook, geocaching disclaimer and an ink pen.

****Important Update 1/28/13****
Went hiking on the trail today and stopped by to check the well being of my letterbox cache.
And much to my surprise when I checked the items inside this big ole whoppin cache-----I seen that SOMEONE STOLE the letterbox ziplock bag that contained the stamp, ink pad and logbook!
Unbelievable, man.
Why someone would steal all these letterbox items is beyond me and by them stealing them---it TOTALLY RUINS the whole "letterbox set-up" for this cache.
I dont have a spare stamp, or else I'd put a new one in the cache.
So--it looks like this once cool Letterbox Cache.....is no longer a "letterbox cache" thanks to someone stealing all the letterbox items.

Just wanted to explain all this so future finders wont be confused why this is labeled a "Letterbox Cache".
Since all the important letterbox items have been stolen, the cache is now a regular cache with a regular logbook,
BUT---you CAN use YOUR STAMP to stamp in the logbook in the cache, if you want to and if you still enjoy Letterboxing.

Hope you enjoy this Letterbox Hybrid!
Cache on my friends....
