Geocache Description:


This is the 3rd in the Thomas the Tank Engine series.

After finding follow the Footpath to Browns Lane. Turn right and walk down the road 0.18 mile then turn left towards Jaguar Social Club and pick up new footpath.

Ferdinand is a large, slow steam engine. One of Misty Island's "Logging Locos," his whistle can create a booming sound. He's bigger than the other logging locomotives, Bash and Dash.

The series comprises of 11 traditional caches and 1 Bonus cache on a circular walk of 5 miles along well marked public footpaths and roads around the Allesley, Coundon & Brownshill Green areas of Coventry.

The clues for the bonus cache are located on the back of the log books in SOME of the series. All caches are located within 20 feet of Public footpaths. Suggested start and finish for the series is in the car park at N 52° 26.493 W 001° 33.116

Some of the caches intersect the Peppa Pig Trail (visit link) and the George Pig Trail (visit link) Both excellent series!
