Geocache Description:

This is the 7th in the Thomas the Tank Engine series.

Hiro is an old Japanese tender engine. Hiro was the first steam engine on the Island of Sodor, and was nicknamed "The Master of the Rails." He was lost for years, however, stowed out of sight on an overgrown branch line. Thomas discovered him by accident after his brakes failed. He decided to try and help Hiro himself, but wouldn't tell The Fat Controller for fear Hiro would be scrapped. After Hiro was mended, he was allowed a trip back to his homeland.

The series comprises of 11 traditional caches and 1 Bonus cache on a circular walk of 5 miles along well marked public footpaths and roads around the Allesley, Coundon & Brownshill Green areas of Coventry.

The clues for the bonus cache are located on the back of the log books in SOME of the series. All caches are located within 20 feet of Public footpaths. Suggested start and finish for the series is in the car park at N 52° 26.493 W 001° 33.116

Some of the caches intersect the Peppa Pig Trail (visit link) and the George Pig Trail (visit link) Both excellent series!
