Geocache Description:

SHORT DESCRIPTION:
A traditional cache with a separate ‘container’ for swaps.
The cache is at least 15ft into the tree cover, away from the path.
(Be aware, flowers and other items are sometimes left nearby at the roadside, as rememberance. Please do not disturb these. The cache is much further away from the road.)

LONG DESCRIPTION:
From this high vantage point you can look towards Woldingham on the North Downs in one direction and towards Tatsfield and Biggin Hill in the other.

It is an area where you may come across the odd pheasant, grouse or partridge. Nearby are some nice public footpaths which go through some of their favourite hiding spots. If you have a dog, best to keep it on a lead, while walking through.
You may also come across cyclists; joggers; or the odd kite or model airplane flyer in neighboring fields. The cycle path is an useful addition as cars travel quickly along this road and it is relatively narrow.

But why are we here? I come up here sometimes to walk my rather anti-social dog in peace. He is always intrigued however, to see the game running around in the fields.

SO - TO THE CACHE:
Imagine for a moment that a cheeky feline has perched in a tree for a better view of the birds but has found itself stranded. Your help is needed!

The cache is at least 15ft into the tree cover, away from the path.
(Be aware, flowers and other items are sometimes left nearby at the roadside, as rememberance. Please do not disturb these. The cache is much further away from the road.)

You are looking for the morose moggy (for the log) and also the means by which it may be rescued (a container for swaps).

For the FTF – There is a decorated mini-bird house.

When the cache was set, following a recue theme - there was:
a mobile phone / calculator – to ask for help,
a Zorro torch - for calling the famous rider’s assistance,
Thunderbird 2 – for International Rescues,
Hedwig Harry Potter card – for magical rescue and in keeping with the bird theme,
Scabbers Harry Potter card – to keep the hamster travel-bug company,
And an Hamster Travel Bug (trying to get to Rome) to visit historical ruins.
