DATELINE - MIDDLE TENNESSEE - July 12, 2009, a state employee living in LaVergne embarks on a journey, a mission to find plastic and metal containers in the woods, in the creeks, in guardrails, at the zoo, etc. - now after signing his 1000th log, it's time to honor Ron - aka rcm999 - no longer just a 999 but a member of the 1K cachers

Ron chose this date for his 1K because it would also be his 2-year geocaching anniversary. Some of you know he bears a resemblance to an outstanding and famous lawman, Barney Fife. So, for this great Tuesday night occasion, please come dressed as your favorite lawman or woman, cowboy or cowgirl, Join us at Hickory Falls - from 6-9, just off Sam Ridley Blvd in northern Rutherford County to fill a golden ammo can so Ron can embark on his next geocaching milestone. We know work schedules often prevent some of our locals from joining us for weekend events, so it's ideal that this Tuesday worked out to be Ron's anniversary, too. See you there!
