The other day, I was riding up this road on my bicycle. My companion/coach was extolling the beauty of the flowers, the trees, the view, the weather. I, on the other hand, was counting each crack in the pavement and gasping for breath as I slowly, VERY slowly pedaled my way onward and upward.
Today I thought I'd go see what I missed. It is, indeed, spectacular. I thought I'd share it with the geocaching community by placing a short series. None of them are terribly difficult. All of them have good, nearby turnouts. If you go out today, there may even be some geotrails for you to follow!
This first is dedicated to the normally nicotianagistic (yeah, I made that up) O2Boutside. I think even he couldn't argue with this usage. Go Bears!
