I was looking at a topo map of the area and spotted a place where the lines got very close together. I wanted to see how close to the water this drop-off was, so I took a hike. Follow the same directions as the Juckett Hill cache but stay on the old logging road to the power lines. From there the next .2 miles are up to you.
This is also an un-official challenge cache
Any cacher can log a find, but only those who have given back to the hobby by placing caches will be placed here on the listing.
To get listed you must have caches published equal to at least 1% of your finds at the end of the day on the date of your found it log for Quabbin Hike.(archived caches will count in the total)
If you have 500 finds then you must have at least 5 cahes published. 501 finds will jump it to 6 hides, etc.
I can only see the total on the date, so if you are close, hide another one.
This is meant as incentive, not a requirement, to get out there and place some caches. It is as rewarding as finding them.
Congratulations to Out12 fot FTF. Just 2 caches shy of the 1% threshold for hides. He has, however, provided 20 caches for our hobby. I guess he gets the first Honorable mention.
The honor role, Those who have caches published equal to at least 1% of their finds:
Capt. Bob with 70 hides, well over the 40 he needed.
