Small cache container, not big enough for swapables or pencil, beside the railway
Part of a series highlighting the return of a large industrial landscape to nature.
The series shows various features which were prominently industrial in the 19th and 20th Centuries, but have now had 20+ years to return to a variegated natural state, with help from additional planting.
Imagine the railway thundering through here from the West Hallam pits (you can still see the rails and sleepers if you look nearby) - just pick your moment to lay your hand on the gate, but listen for the whistle - you might still hear it!
As this is at the convergence of at least six paths and trails, with high muggle activity, please ensure you do not disclose the location of the cache unintentionally.
Update: the bushes previously hiding the fence/gate have been cut back, so access is a 'bit' easier.
Container is at ground level, and contains only the log, so please bring your own pen(cil)- please replace the container in the same position you found it - thanks
