This historic and beautiful building situated near the small country town of Burra South Australia. This popular icon has been a very well photographed building over the years by amatuer and professional photographers.The town of Burra is rich in history dating back to the discovery of copper in the hills surrounding this quaint town by a shepherd in the 1840's This abandoned building has been made sunominous by Midnight Oil, The Diesel and Dust album, which was released on the 16/02/1998
