On the way to see some cute piggies we passed this delightful bit of rock. Being interested in the 'bones' of the earth we stopped and enjoyed examining the curved layers, blocks and edges. All of this is right next to the road in one of South Lakes beautiful oak woods. Take a moment to look around at the sights and enjoy this lovely spot. Several big beech trees around too.
It's not entirely a simple drive-by as just a little bit of gentle scrambliing will be needed - don't go around to the top, approach from the bottom. It's quite easy but take care as you retrieve the cache. Please re-hide well.
