Geocache Description:

A micro cache is hidden at the Utamikumari-jinja Shrine.

Utamikumari-jinja enshrine gods who supposed to protects the water. The beautiful shrine main hall has been designated to be a national treasure. Also, there are a number of old and big cedar trees. One of them is said to be the second generation of what was planted by a historic figure Minamoto-no Yoritomo who ruled Japan in Era of Kamakura, some 900 hundreds ago.
Now the shrine is quiet and shows us its great history being surrounded by those great trees.
The cache container is a thin tube of approx. 7mm diameter and several cm long.
