Geocache Description:

Grue Finnskog kirke (tidl. Revholt kapell) er en langkirke fra 1886. Byggverket er i tre og har 340 plasser, og ligger i Svullrya på Grue Finnskog. Den første kirken ble innviet 4. mars 1863 og hadde 200 sitteplasser. Denne ble revet i 1883. En ny kirke ble innviet 8. desember 1886 med bortimot 430 sitteplasser. 28. januar 1948 falt denne ned på grunn av store snømengder. Kun tårnet og den bakre delen av kirken sto igjen. Kirken ble gjenreist 1949–50 og på ny innviet den 26. november 1950. Tidligere var det gravplasser ute på noen holmer i sjøen Røgden de kalles Kjerringholmene eller Akkasauri.

Grue Finnskog Church (used to be: Revholt chapel) is a church from 1886. Its made of wood and has 340 seats and lies in Svullrya, Grue Finnskog. The first church was finnished 4th of March 1863, and had 200 seats. It was torn down in 1883. A new church was made, and was ready for use 8th of December 1886, with about 430 seats. 28th of January 1948, the roof fell down because of too much snow. Only the tower and the back part of the church was left. 1949 the church was re-build, and could be used for the first time 26th of November 1950. It used to be be graves on the small islands in the lake Røgden, called "Kjærringholmene" or "Akkasauri".
