Geocache Description:

The co-ordinates are for the stile.

The idea for this box came from my son, Tom. Hopefully you will love this circular walk.

Parking for this cache is at Ilston Church. You will then need to follow the public footpath over the hill down to a tributary of the Ilston River (see photo). Head north to the stile and into Moorlakes wood (see photo). These woods are very secluded but also very boggy. You have been warned!
The co-ordinates will take you to the stile. From the stile, you need to walk 22 double paces on a bearing of 20 degrees, over the stream to an old oak tree. An x marks the spot. From here travel 8 double paces on a bearing of 124 degrees between 2 trees. The box is in the roots of 2 different trees.
Make sure you stick to the paths. Many thanks to the scouts for letting me place this box.
