Here we have a way-station for travelers - bugs, coins, tags and the like. The container is a standard ammo can, secured to discourage traveling itself. It is lightly covered- please remember to replace the cache as you found it, so it doesn't attract the attention of the non-caching public.
There was another ammo can hide very near this one in the past, but it was unfortunately "borrowed" by a passing stranger. Let's hope this one stays a bit more secure.
Northbound travelers on I-35 will take the New Road exit (331) and find convenient parking at the abandoned gas station. Southbound travels will need to take the Loop 340 exit and come around on the northbound service road. Re-entry onto I-35 in either direction is close by and convenient.
