Holåsen og Granberget er de to nest høyeste stedene i Lillomarka
og er 440 m høye. En stund figurerte Granberget på delt førsteplass
sammen med Brennberget som er 441 m høyt. Nå er det to om
andreplassen. Det er ikke mye å si om toppunktet på Holåsen. Det er
en liten kolle med masse maur. Det er tre tuer like ved cachen.
Rett vest for kollen er det en stor og vanligvis våt myr. I øst er
det mørk skog. I nord møtes myr og skog. Sydover er det litt bedre
og den veien er det ikke langt til et stort hugstfelt. Det er noen
private hytter og noen lagshytter i området rundt åsen. Letteste
adkomst er kanskje å ta østover i nærheten av et fint utsiktspunkt
ca 500 m vest for cachen. Se waypoint. Et annet alternativ er å gå
stien nordover forbi Sørlandshytta. Den er blåmerket på noen kart,
men ikke i virkeligheten. Se waypoints.
Cachen er en militær matboks som henger i en grønn ståltråd og
en MM karabinkrok.

minicrayons og en "golfball".
The Hol Hill and the Spruce Hill are the two second highest
places in Lillomarka. They are 440 m above sea level. For a while
the Spruce Hill was incorrectly shown as one of the two highest
places together with the Burning Hill at 441 m above sea level. Now
there are two sharing the second place. There is not much to say
about the highest spot on Hol Hill. It is a small knoll with lots
of ants. There are three ant hills just to the west of the cache.
To the west there is a large and usually wet marsh. To the east the
forest is dark. To the north marsh and forest meets. To the south
it is a little bit better and the open space after recent lumbering
is not far away. There are some private cabins and some cabins
belonging to various clubs in the area around the hill. The easiest
way to reach the cache is maybe to head east from a nice view point
approximately 500 m to the west of the cache. Look up waypoint. An
alternative is to follow the unmarked path heading north past
Sørlandshytta. It is shown as a blue marked trail in some maps. Not
so in reality. Look up waypoints.
The cache is a military food container hanging in a green steel
wire and a MM snap ring.
Initial contents: Log, info, pencil, ballpoint pen, geocacing
cards, magnifying glass, rubber duck, 2 candle plates, minicrayons
and a "golf ball".
