The Sterr Glacial Habitat Restoration Area is an 80 acre parcel of WDNR land, managed for the production of waterfowl, wild pheasant, and non-game songbirds.
In an era of ever increasing rural development and disappearing farmland and wetland, these areas are critical for the feeding, nesting, and overall survival of birds and other wildlife.
This is the twentieth in the many "Room 2 Roam" cache placements. These are not park 'n' grabs and can be wet during the different seaons of the year.
Enjoy the trek and watch for wildlife!
