This small-to-medium pill bottle is hidden in an army surplus olive clip pouch and should be a good start on your way up the trail. BYOP!
Orenaug Park (Woodbury, CT), deeded to the town in 1892 by Susan B. Shove, features a simple trail system providing visitors with a mixture of woodlands, rocky ledges, ponds, and overviews.
At the trail's peak is a fire tower that offers views of the surrounding area. When the hawks are soaring, it is a great spot to see them in flight and to try to grab a photo.
(Notes: There are steep (single file) stairs that lead up to an enclosed observation deck. Perhaps 3 to five people can fit comfortably.)
There are two ways to access Orenaug Park - from Town Hall complex at the intersection of Routes 6 and 317 and from Park Road. The Park Road entrance is a bit more exciting, although parking is limited.
The easiest way to access this cache is from the Town Hall complex.
