Cache is not at the tracks but here is the ghost story.
Back in 1895, Francis Foos was jilted by a maiden in the neighbood he lived in. He was heartbroke and tried drowning his sorrows. He horse turned towards home and he stopped at Hoover Crossing tied his horse to the cross arm and continued to drown his sorrows. Out of the darkness a light danced along the rails. As the locomotive approached the horse pulled its reins free and took off just before the engine struck Mr. Foos. As the riderless horse returned home, The search was on for the lost rider. They found Mr. Foos in the ditch, more dead than alive. Took him to Columbus Hospital where he died two days later.
Some say they on some nights they can see a ghost of a man along the trains looking for his horse. Could it be Mr. Foos. Dont know but enjoy find the cache.
