Sono tanti i motivi che ci hanno spinto ad oragnizzare questo
evento...
10 anni di motivi.
Il
3 Luglio 2001 in Arizona, Chikka e io troviamo il nostro
primo cache,
Via Vernon, GC22A.
Fu una
incredibile emozione, la scoperta di una
passione che anche dopo 10 anni,
con ovvi alti e
bassi, ci continua ad affascinare e che ci ha permesso di
scoprire tanti luoghi e, soprattutto, tanti nuovi amici che
condividono questa stessa incredibile passione.
Ma non basta.
Presi dall'entusiasmo per questa nuova attività,
20 giorni
dopo registriamo il dominio
geocaching-italia.com e
immediatamente chiediamo ed otteniamo (
direttamente da
Jeremy) il permesso di creare il sito per questa attività in
Italia. E così, dopo qualche giorno di lavoro riusciamo a mettere
in piedi il
primo sito italiano, divenuto velocemente il
sito di riferimento del geocaching nel nostro paese, anche
grazie al fatto che per per qualche anno
siamo stati linkati
direttamente nella homepage di geocaching.com.
In questi 10 anni di vita,
www.geocaching-italia.com è
sempre stato presente e ha costantemente accompagnato lo sviluppo e
la diffusione del geocaching nel nostro paese, con l'impegno e la
passione di chi ama questa attività.
Quale modo migliore per celebrare questi due importanti
traguardi se non con gli amici geocacher?

sull'evento:
L'appuntamento è dalle ore 18:00 presso le coordinate del listing,
che corrispondono al pub "Ai Soffioni" in Piazza dei Signori a
Treviso. Qui ci troveremo per un aperitivo e poi ci trasferiamo al
vicino ristorante "da Roberto" (N 45° 39.784, E 12° 14.600) per la
cena e dove dove concluderemo questo evento.
Vi chiediamo la cortesia di confermare la vostra presenza e
il numero di partecipanti, così da poterci organizzare al
meglio.

years of Geocaching (in) Italia
There are so many reason that convinced us to set this event up...
10 years of reasons.
On
July 3rd 2001 in Arizona, Chikka and myself found our
first cache,
Via Vernon, GC22A.
It has been an
incredible emotion, we discovered a new
passion that even after 10 years
with reasonable ups and
downs is still fascinating us and that has helped us to
discover so many new and wonderful places and, nevertheless, so
many new friends that enjoy the same incredible passion.
But this is not enough.
Taken by the enthusiasm for this new activity,
20 days later
we registered the
geocaching-italia.com domain and we
immediately ask for and obtain (
directly from Jeremy) the
permission to create the site for this activity in Italy. And so,
after a few days of work we manage to set up the
first Italian
site, that quickly became the
reference site of
geocaching in our country, thanks to the fact that
for a few
years we have been linked directly inside the geocaching.com
homepage.
In these 10 years,
www.geocaching-italia.com has always been
present and has constantly accompanied the development and the
development of geocaching in Italy, with the commitment and passion
of really loves this activity.
What better way to celebrate these two milestones if not with
some friends geocacher
Notes on the
event:
We meet at 6:00pm at the listing coordinates, that are of the pub
"Ai Soffioni" in Piazza dei Signori, in Treviso. We will meet for a
drink and then we will move to the close restaurant "da Roberto" (N
45° 39.784, E 12° 14.600) for our dinner where we will end this
event up.
We kindly ask you to confirm your presence and how many of
you will join us, so we will be able to better organize
everything.
