Park at the Hosmer field lot and walk up, closed at dusk unless a game is going on. Stealth required as the path is well traversed by the locals of all ages. Dogs are welcome as long as you clean up after them.
placed as a student project for the MVMS eighth grade River Valley unit in 2011, I thought this was a great enough hide to share. It's too small for coins or travel bugs, but great for small metallic objects and other mini-swag. BYOP or pencil as I didn't even think about one when I placed it. Oooops.
4/30/12 update. Due to the difficulty people have had in finding it, I've upped the hide difficulty to a 2. It's in a traditional spot, and nothing special about it. But for some reason the coordinates are WAYYYY bouncy here.
