Geocache Description:

Smallish cache just off the beaten park near Fowlmere

Lock n Lock container tucked away off a path fairly well used by dog walkers, although many prefer the more worn path on the other side of the field. Depending on which way you approach the cache (from Long Lane, where there is parking for 1 or 2 cars) or from the RSPB reserve with lots of parking) depends on how hard the terrain is. If you've checked out Summer Days (at time of writing my only other cache, but not for long!) first then head down into the big field and skirt along the side of the woods until N52 05.603 E0 03.709 where a small path disappears into the wood. Follow this or you will make it much longer and a little harder for yourself!

At time of placement the cache contained a log book and a few swappables half-inched from my kids but NO PEN. Please hide well on leaving so not visible from a distance!

Enjoy and watch out for nettles!

Edited to Add: This may be easier to approach from Fowlmere. It is possible to get to the cache from either side without going past any Private signs. From the RSPB you may need to skirt all around the wood until you get to the co-ordinates above.
